There's some super good news for "Superbad."
The crude buddy comedy topped the nominations for the MTV Movie Awards, the cable network announced Tuesday.
Starring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, "Superbad" is up for Best Movie, Best Comedic Performance for Hill and Best Newcomer for Hill, Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Going up against "Superbad" for Best Movie are "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," "I Am Legend," "Transformers" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End."
A new category -- "Best Summer Movie So Far" -- will debut at the annual awards ceremony.
Nominees for that category include "Iron Man," "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," "Sex and the City: The Movie" and "Speed Racer."
In one of the show's most popular categories, the nominees for Best Kiss are Cera and Ellen Page for "Juno," Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer for "Disturbia," Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman for "Step Up 2: The Streets," Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey for "Enchanted" and Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Leung for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Viewers can vote for all winners online at MTV.com through May 23. The live ceremony will be broadcast on June 1.
