Britney Spears doesn't care what you think -- she's in love, she's not pregnant and she's fully prepared to deal with her fiance's children.

Spears told People magazine that she's in love with dancer Kevin Federline and she's ready to get married.

She's 22 and he's 26. He is a former backup dancer for her tour.

Spears denies she's pregnant. Federline has a 2-year-old daughter with former "Moesha" actress Shar Jackson, and Jackson is pregnant with his second child.

Spears said she plans on meeting Federline's daughter and she loves "little ones." She said she wants to have four or five kids of her own someday, but for now, she's starting with a dog, a Maltese named Lacy.

Spears is the one who first proposed to Federline -- and People magazine reported that he turned her down.

It happened about three weeks ago when they were flying back from Ireland after her European tour.

Spears asked Federline to marry her -- and he said no because he thought the guy should be the one proposing. A few minutes later he popped his own question and she said yes.

Spears said after kissing "a lot of frogs" in her life, she's finally found her "prince." Spears picked out her own five-carat diamond ring.

Jackson said there'll be no baby-mama drama for Spears. Jackson's cool with Britney's engagement to her former beau. She told "Access Hollywood" she plans to meet and chat with Spears and that eventually they will all be "one big happy family."

Jackson said she isn't sure that Spears is ready to be a stepmother -- but that she should get ready, if she isn't. And Jackson said Spears shouldn't worry that Jackson's still carrying a torch for the man who fathered her child. As she put it: "There is life after Kevin -- and I'm living it."

Earlier this year, Spears wed childhood friend Jason Alexander in a spontaneous ceremony in Las Vegas. The nuptials lasted 55 hours before an annulment.

Spears recently called off the American leg of her Onyx Hotel tour due to a knee injury she suffered on a video shoot in June.
