About The Show
Detroit is the fifth city on the Rolling Stones' tour of 53 scheduled cities, which kicked off on Aug. 21 in Boston.
Named after the new album scheduled to hit stores on Sept. 6, "A Bigger Bang" is the only scheduled Detroit show.
According to
rollingstones.com, the new album will be the band's longest, with a full 16 tracks, since 1972's "Exile on Main Street."
This will also be the first time the group is touring to support new material since the "Bridges to Babylon" tour in 1997, according to the Web site.
The last time the Stones were in Detroit was in 2002, when they played at Ford Field for the "Licks Tour."
