Entertainers have long been accused of stealing the hearts of fans, but Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell said someone stole something valuable from him: his wife's $110,000 ring.

Littrell said he and his wife were staying at the Evergreen Marriott Resort in Stone Mountain, Ga., this weekend, and after they checked out, his wife, Leighanne, realized that she forgot to collect her jewelry from the room's nightstand, WSB-TV reported.

According to the TV station, the couple said they raced back to the room to find her belongings, but that all $120,000 worth of jewelry had disappeared.

"I kept my rings on the bedside table, we left the room and in 15 minutes I came back, they're gone," Leighanne told WSB-TV.

After filing a report with local authorities, Littrell said police were able to recover some of the missing jewelry during their investigation.

"We were going to leave, but come to find out there was a person, not to be named on the housekeeping, had one ring that we were looking for and one of the earrings," Littrell told the TV station.

However, Littrell said his wife's six-carat diamond engagement ring, valued at $110,000, has still not been located.

The couple said they are deciding whether or not to offer a reward in the case.
