Organization provides mentoring, scholarship opportunities to at-risk young girls in public high schools
The Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program will host their 2013 Spring Fundraiser at the Palace during Detroit rock legend Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band's concert.
Event organizers said the concert will take place in the luxurious new Club 300 at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Thursday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
The non-profit, which provides mentoring and scholarship opportunities to at-risk young girls in public high schools, is selling tax-deductible tickets to the nearly sold-out concert, which will include a private reception in Club 300 with amenities such as private restrooms, two private cash bars, complimentary wine, soda and heavy appetizers.
Individual tickets for the VIP Suite and concert are $250, with a tax-deductible portion of $125. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available at the Rock n' Roll level for $5,000 and the Silver Bullet level for $2,500.

The event's sponsors include Plante Moran, PLLC and TTi Global, and wine provided courtesy of Deutsch Family Wine. Event Co-Chairs include Women of Tomorrow mentors Lori Blaker, President and CEO at TTi Global, and philanthropist Meg Ferron.
"In my opinion, this event is an incredible way to support all things local: The Palace, Bob Seger: our local, hometown musical icon and MOST importantly, the Women of Tomorrow in all of our participating mentor schools. I have seen from my own mentees how this program can make a difference in as short a time as 6 months," said Ferron.
