ROYAL OAK, Mich. -

Action. Adventure. Comedy. This group of friends is simply looking to make people smile with their short film The Falcon Part Two.

This film is based off a previous worthwhile short called *The Falcon (click here to watch) which debuted in December 2010 at the 6th Annual Holiday Film Festival at Detroit's Burton Theatre.

The Falcon Part Two doesn't exactly pick up where The Falcon left off but it does follow the same characters created in it's predecessor.

"The film follows two young men who have to team up with a former enemy to confront a common foe," says Tim Casey-VanHout, one of the film's creators.

The film stars long-time friends Casey-VanHout, Cory Smith, John Fresch, Benjamin Donovan, Kyle Sarate and Brian Gregory -- who all but Donovan graduated from Royal Oak High School.

The director of The Falcon Part Two is Casey-VanHout's older brother, Daniel Casey who also directed the original.

And Casey is no stranger to film. The Royal Oak native got his bachelor's degree from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit. He has since directed several films, including feature-length "The Death of Michael Smith," which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival.

On top of Casey's credentials, the director is also a writer for television and movies.

Come Friday, April 19th, these friends will premiere The Falcon Part Two at the Royal Oak Eagles Club. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project. See more information below.
