DETROIT -

The new film, "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" is is based on the classic novel of the same name.

The international thriller is during  the Cold War years of the mid-20th Century. George Smiley , played by Gary Oldman, is a disgraced British spy, who is rehired in secret by his government - which fears that the British Secret Intelligence Service, a.k.a. MI-6, has been compromised by a double agent working for the Soviets.

This MI-6 is definitely different than the one that James Bond works for.

I had a chance to sit down and talk to two of the stars, Colin Firth and Gary Oldman, about the movie.
