People Magazine is set to announce 2012's 'Sexiest Man Alive' Wednesday, two days before the magazine hits newsstands.

Last year's winner was actor Bradley Cooper, most known for his role in Hangover. Some other notable title holders include George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.
The first person named 'Sexiest Man Alive' was Mel Gibson in 1985.
