Rihanna postpones another tour stop due to illness

Singer still trying to recuperate, according to statement

After being hit with a double whammy of the flu and laryngitis, Rihanna's pulled out of her second concert this week.

The 25-year-old was supposed to perform in Baltimore on Tuesday, but the show was postponed. On Sunday, the "Diamonds" singer also had to hold off on her Boston show.

"#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down," Rihanna tweeted Sunday. "I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!"

Her Twitter account has been quiet since, and according to a statement, she's still trying to recuperate. She plans to next take the stage on Thursday in Philadelphia.

A statement says fans who purchased tickets to her Boston or Baltimore show should hold on to them pending more information.
