Electric Forest Festival returns

Festival held in Rothbury, Michigan

ROTHBURY, Mich. – Thousands of music lovers will make their way to Rothbury, Michigan Thursday for the Electric Forest Festival.

The festival is taking over the Double JJ Ranch Resort for the fourth straight year. But for the first time, it's sold out.

More than 30,000 people from across the country are expected to attend.

The festival features musical performances by The String Cheese Incident, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Aloe Blacc, STS9, ScHoolBoy Q, Matt & Kim, as well as DJ's MOBY, Steve Angello and Zedd.

The festival is known for it's emphasis on art installations along with overall attendee experience.

Rothbury, on the west side of the state, is about a 3 hour drive from Detroit.

Electric Forest Festival runs through the weekend.
