Fenton music teacher finalist in Folgers jingle contest

Andy Perkins is one of ten finalists in Folgers jingle contest

FENTON, Mich. - It could be the chance of a lifetime for Fenton High School teacher Andy Perkins. Perkins is one of just ten musicians chosen nationwide as a finalist in the Folgers coffee jingle contest.

Perkins is the head of the music department at Fenton High School and director of the Fenton Community Orchestra.

His video shows him making Folgers in a coffee press and singing about how much he loves a good cup of java.

Perkins has already won $500 and is in the running for a grand prize of $2500. There is also chance Folgers will use his jingle in their next advertising campaign.
