The world is getting its first look at Jessica Simpson's new baby daughter.
Simpson is on the cover of this week's People Magazine holding her daughter Maxwell Drew, who was born May 1.

The singer and actress, along with her fiancé Eric Johnson, say they are proud and overjoyed with their daughter. Maxwell was 9 pounds, 13 ounces at birth.
The happy parents thank everyone who has sent them well wishes.
