Male TV host wears same suit for a year to prove point about sexism

The host changes ties and shirts, but the blue suit jacket has been his staple for the entire year.

DETROIT – The co-host of Australia's Today show, Karl Stefanovic, wore the same suit on the air for an entire year -- just to prove his point about sexism.

As reported by The Age, Stefanovic has been wearing the same blue suit on air for more than a year -- and not a single viewer has noticed.

"No one has noticed; no one gives a s*it," Stefanovic told the paper. "But women, they wear the wrong color and they get pulled up. They say the wrong thing and there are thousands of tweets written about them."

The host changes ties and shirts, but the blue suit jacket has been his staple for the entire year.

"I'm judged on my interviews, my appalling sense of humor – on how I do my job," he told The Age. "Whereas women are quite often judged on what they're wearing or how their hair is."
