Big Sean has always carried the underdog chip on his shoulder, since his Finally Famous days, waiting for Kanye West to release his first album under the G.O.O.D. Music label.

Big Sean has grown from a party rapper to one of the best storytellers in the business.

We knew Big Sean was a storyteller. Even on his older mixtapes, Sean displayed some of the best storytelling skills in his class.

Sean's last album, "Dark Sky Paradise," was a big hit, showing the he was more than hit singles. The album was full of heart, and connected deeply with fans.

"I Decided" continues this, but it's perfected even further. It's clearly his best project yet.

The album has a perfect mix of hard-hitting lyrics and hard-hitting beats, with Sean front and center on every song, despite some heavy hitting features.

Sean reflects on hot button issues, including police brutality, politics, family, relationships and racism.

The last song on the album features the Flint Chozen Choir - it's the most powerful song on the album.

The 28-year-old is gaining steam with every record, it seems. The 14-track album bobs and weaves through Big Sean's brain, offering a reflective vision of his life.
