Mom2Mom Takes Resale To A Whole New Level

Local Grandmother Has Money-Saving Idea

POSTED: Monday, February 16,

It's a growing trend in southeastern Michigan as one local grandmother takes resale to a whole new level.

MOM2MOM INFO

Mom2Mom is a cross between a flea market and a multi-family garage sale.

The group caters to mothers of children ranging in age from infant to teen.

It's an organization providing moms with a list of all resale opportunities in southeastern Michigan, Club Mom reported.

"It's not a rummage sale, it's not a white elephant sale, it's strictly kids," said Patty Zilinsky, the founder of Mom2Mom.

"From clothes to play toys, skates, basketballs, whatever, it's all child oriented," she said.

Zilinsky, owner and founder of Mom2Mom and the Mom2Mom Web site, has been outfitting her granddaughter, Shayla, from the day she was born.

When finances are tight, families can look to Mom2Mom for one thing and that's saving money.

For parents concerned about the quality of clothing or items at Mom2Mom, Zilinsky said the items are either new or "gently used."
