Meijer What's 4 Dinner: Tomato and corn pizza

This produce inspired pizza is simple to make! Enjoy it on our patio or deck for a delicious family meal.

Ingredients:
3 small plum tomatoes, sliced - $0.74
1/8 tsp. salt – on hand
1/8 tsp. fresh ground pepper – on hand
1 (14 oz.) package prebaked Italian pizza crust – $1.25
Parchment paper (or pizza pan)
1/3 cup refrigerated pesto – $1.16
1/2 cup fresh corn kernels – $0.20
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese – $1.00
1 tsp. sugar – on hand
8 oz. fresh mozzarella, sliced - $3.49
3 Tbsp. fresh whole or torn basil leaves – on hand

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450º. Place tomato slices on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; let stand 20 minutes.
2. Place pizza crust on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet; spread with pesto. Stir together corn, Parmesan, and sugar. Top pizza with corn mixture, tomatoes, and mozzarella slices.
3. Bake at 450º for 14 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden. Remove from oven, and top with basil leaves.
