Ford's Thirty Under 30
As part of the celebration marking the 10th anniversary of the Ford Volunteer Corps, Executive Chairman Bill Ford focused on the future with a new initiative to strengthen Ford Motor Company's leadership in community service. The program is called Thirty Under 30 and the first class is already gearing up for a yearlong course in civic engagement and leadership skills with a focus on philanthropy and volunteerism. These dedicated, energetic employees were selected from more than 300 applications across the U.S. and many of them have already taken part in Ford volunteer activities. As part of the program, the Thirty Under 30 will be paired with nonprofits so both Ford and charitable organizations can learn from younger generations.
