Kroger Introduces $4 Generic Drugs

On Feb. 6, The Kroger Co. will begin offering pharmacy customers generic drugs for 4$ per prescription at its stores throughout Michigan.
The $4 price will apply to more than 300
generic drugs prescribed for 30-day supplies and will be available at 104 pharmacies at Kroger stores in the Michigan area.

The generic drug alternatives will be available for some of the most commonly prescribed drugs used to treat conditions such as diabetes, asthma, depression, heart disease, thyroid and other health problems.
The prescriptions are available at Kroger pharmacies and for on-line and telephone orders for customers to pick up in a store.
Kroger will also offer generic versions of the family planning drugs Ortho-Cyclen and Ortho Tri Cyclen (28-day supply) and a fertility drug for $9.
