Actress, model, and mom Jenny McCarthy spoke Wednesday in Troy at an Autism Awareness event sponsored by Henry Ford Health System and Metro Parent Magazine.

McCarthy's 5-year-old son Evan was diagnosed with Autism several years ago.

McCarthy changed Evan's diet, eliminating dairy and gluten. She now believes the diet, along with supplements and detoxification, has helped Evan recover from Autism.
