2 More Mich. Residents Die From H1N1

State Health Department Says Two Deceased Are From Detroit, Oakland County

LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan officials are reporting two more state residents have died from swine flu.

The state Department of Community Health said on its Web site that the deceased are from Detroit and Oakland County. No other details were provided Thursday.

The state no longer is updating the number of confirmed and probable swine flu cases by county. It is instead reporting flu-like illnesses and cases of influenza.

Michigan had 655 confirmed and probable swine flu cases as of June 13. It has since reported more than 400 other cases of flu-like illness.
