ANN ARBOR, Mich. - A mystery illness has sent several Saginaw County family members to the hospital following a family reunion in Charlevoix County.
About 27 people attended the reunion last week and since that time several became seriously ill - so serious that 4 of them were flown from St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw to the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.

A University of Michigan Medical Center spokesman says 2 of the family members are in serious condition.
Doctors still have not revealed what the family members have been sickened by, but have ruled out Legionnaires disease. Physicians describe the symptoms as being those similar to pneumonia.
The family was staying at a rental home in Charlevoix County.
