The American Heart Association declared February 5th National Wear Red Day to raise awareness for women's heart health.
According to The American Heart Association, heart disease and stroke kill one in three women. The risk of heart disease increases with high blood during pregnancy, gestational diabetes, and depression. Signs of heart attack in women can be subtle, such as pain in the jaw and back, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, and nausea. Chest pain isn't always a symptom for women.
