DETROIT - The women who gathered for a recent bargain shopping clinic are all looking to save more money.
"I am looking to learn how to save on my shopping," said Patti Adams.
"My kids are getting a little older and their gift choices this year are a little more expensive," said Shannon Lazovski.
Melissa Buckles is the woman who hopes to help them find better deals.
Buckles runs the website bargainshoppermom.com and her biggest piece of advice is to have a holiday spending plan.
Buckles says it should include all the gifts and the cost of any entertaining.
"I think once you write it down and look at your list, and look at who you're buying for, and what your budget is-- that makes it a lot more concrete for people," said Buckles.
This year, Buckles is excited about the price matching program at Target.
She says Target will match prices even after you buy qualifying items.
If you see it for less-- later--- you can get money back from Target although Black Friday deals are excluded.
"Don't forget about online, because I think this year online is going to be huge," said Buckles.
Buckles says never go shopping online without checking her web for coupons.
She also suggests using a website called Ebates which gives you cash back for shopping online.
"I actually learned a little more about Ebates, I never used Ebates and I didn't even know they existed," said Lazovski.
