DETROIT - For me, Father's Day with my dad was a little different than what you might expect in a typical family.
Growing up in New York, we often went to a ballgame. I know that sounds pretty routine. The difference was that my dad and baseball Hall of Famer Phil Rizutto were the New York Yankees' broadcasters.
So when I went to a game, I got to sit up in the press box and pretend that I was broadcasting too. Afterwards, I sometimes went with my dad into the Yankees' clubhouse to see bubble gum cards come to life like Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. I told you-- not your typical Father's Day.
