Residents of an active senior living community north of Detroit have done a ghastly redecorating job on one of their units.
A spokeswoman says community groups, family, friends and other visitors are invited to explore the "haunted apartment" at the American House in Troy.
Jennifer Cherry says "the residents love Halloween and have gone all out transforming one apartment into a spooky residence."
The haunted apartment is open for free weekday tours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Friday. Weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
