Are the 'Real Housewives' acting like real deadbeats?

Reality show castmembers promised $40K for Detroit schools, but haven't delivered

DETROIT – During a reunion show that aired last weekend, but was filmed back in March two cast members of one of the many numerous iterations of the "Real Housewives" franchise promised to donate a combined $40,000 to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.

NeNe Leakes challenged Detroit native and fellow cast member Kenya Moore to select a charity and they would each make a $20,000 contribution. Moore picked the DPS Foundation as the good cause to benefit from their largesse.

However, neither woman has yet cut a check nor have DPS Foundations officials heard from either despite making their high-profile pledge weeks ago.

Hopefully this has a happy ending, but that would be a first for a "Real Housewives" fight.
