The deadline for coverage is March 31st and those that miss the deadline are looking at a penalty of 1% of your income or $95 per adult depending on which is higher. So how do you get covered?

• Determing Eligibility for a Subsidy. If you are concerned about cost, you may be eligible for a government subsidy or a lower cost policy. Depending on your income, some subsidies may cover your cost entirely.
• Apply before March 31. You can go to Healthcare.gov to apply online or you can apply via phone.
