Lower sugar intake is key to good health

DETROIT – As the sugar in the diet decreases, the taste buds begin to perceive that the prior sugar levels that were satisfying, are now too sweet. This same principle holds for salty foods. The less you consume, the easier it is to perceive prior satisfying amounts, as too high.

Substituting healthier options, for high sugar foods, includes using fruits, cranberries, honey, dates, increasing protein and water. More details to come.
