DETROIT -

All About Animals Rescue is one of only ten organizations in the nation chosen by PetSmart Charities and the Humane Society of the United States to implement their new “Pets for Life” program. The program is focused on providing critical services to underserved pet owners while strengthening the value of pets in the home. Two members of The HSUS are flying into help with Detroit’s first of its kind Pets for Life community outreach events.

Pets in the 48208 zip code, while supplies last, will be vaccinated for rabies and distemper, go home with pet food and be offered free spay/neuter and microchipping appointments with All About Animals Rescue on their mobile van and at their surgery clinic in Warren. The groups expect to help at least 500 pets by the end of Saturday’s event.

WHERE: 4301 Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48208
