DETROIT -

The Michigan Humane Society is rolling out a Lease to Adopt option for cats.

The program, which starts Saturday, allows someone to take home a pre-owned cat for up to four months. If one feels like they made a bad decisions, he or she can take the cat back to the Humane Society.

The cats cost between $40 and $60. That includes food and litter.

The cats also will get a microchip, sterilization and vaccinations.
