Watch Santa's reindeer online

Santa Claus is back for a second year on ReindeerCam.com, a 24/7 online livestream of his magical reindeer from his farm at the North Pole. He's returns to daily feed the reindeer until his sleigh takes off on Christmas -- and this year he has new friends.

In addition to the online stream, Santa has created new companion, ReindeerCam app for iPhone and iPad, which allows children to check in with the reindeer from any location in the world.

Helping Santa are the website and app creators, Adam Loveless and Drew Born.

"ReindeerCam has earned a huge response from around the world, we'll build off that success this holiday season by making it mobile and seeing a lot more from Santa and his elves," said Loveless. "Viewers can expect to see new characters, in addition to Santa, and other fun content the whole family enjoys."

ReindeerCam's greatest amount of traffic each day is when Santa's elves feed the reindeer, going up by thousands as we enter the holiday season (over 200,000 visits from 86 countries since the app was launched on Nov. 1), and grows exponentially today when Santa takes a break from toy making and starts feeding his animals in preparation for his annual flight.

The Reindeercam.com site first went live in late 2011 and immediately became an Internet sensation during the holiday season. The site offers 24/7 coverage of Mr. and Mrs. Stix using a high-quality digital camera in addition to glimpses of Santa and his elves at scheduled times throughout the day feeding the reindeer.

Expansion of the 2012 technology and programming has been funded by Start Garden, a $15,000,000 seed fund based in Grand Rapids, Mich. ReindeerCam was selected by public endorsements to receive $5,000 from Start Garden, and two months later received second stage funding of $20,000 to move the idea forward.

Follow the Reindeer at www.reindeercam.com or download the ReindeerCam App from the Apple App Store for $1.99.
