City creates interactive bad dogs map

Map displays exact addresses

A recently launched feature on the city of Minneapolis' website maps out where dangerous dogs and their owners live.

The interactive map shows photos of the each dog, its name, breed and reason for it to be declared dangerous.

According to the city's website, the pets are flagged in red on the map because they have had an animal-to-animal or animal-to-human bite or incident.

The site says it posts pictures of the animals and their addresses "in order to keep residents safe."

Residents can get their dogs off the list if they complete training courses, the site says.
