Local 4 broadcasts 'Live from Ford Arts, Beats and Eats Special' airs Friday

DETROIT – Food, music and art will be on display throughout the Labor Day weekend and WDIV-Local 4, known as the "Big Event" station, gives viewers a sneak peek into the excitement.

The station will air a half-hour special from Ford Arts, Beats & Eats in Royal Oak. The annual festival is just one of the many local events that WDIV broadcasts live throughout the year.

Airing Friday, September 4 at 8 p.m., the primetime show will highlight the must-see attractions, including some of the more than 200 performances taking place on ten stages and the new activities this year.

Hosts Rhonda Walker and Evrod Cassimy will be on Local 4's main stage in the middle of the event while Local 4's Brandon Roux will be out in the crowd sampling food, interviewing artists and previewing the music. This live special offers viewers important information from where to park to the family-friendly fun things to do at the festival.
