Ruth to the Rescue did a hidden-camera undercover investigation to help you get your iPod fixed.Apple doesn't open up and fix iPods, especially if they are out of warranty.The Pod Drop, based in the basement of a Washington Township home, has been repairing iPods and iPhones for several years now and fixes about 30 devices a day through its Web site.In our test, the technicians at the Pod Drop replaced the battery and reformatted the hard drive of a 30 gig iPod at their new store in Macomb. It cost just $45.
