Buying Worthwhile Camcorders and Cameras

Consumer Reports rates the $250.00 Canon ZR900 miniDV cam the top camcorder with 'good' picture quality and 50 minutes of battery life.

Sony's CyberShot DSC-W300 took Consumer Reports top spot for digital cameras. The 14 megapixel camera costs $330 and it rated 'very good' when it came to image quality.
