Here is a list of the qualifying produce: NatureSweet Cherry Tomatoes Fresh Express Salads Personal seedless watermelons California peaches, plums and nectarines Tomatoes on the Vine and Campari Tomatoes Idaho Falls red potatoes Santa Sweets grape tomatoes Shuman Produce onions Stemilt Growers cherries and apples T Marzetti salad dressings
Meijer Director of Public Relations Frank Guglielmi said research shows people want to help charities but sometimes cannot afford to support both a household and a good cause. So, Meijer believes this is a way to do both. “We believe that people still want to support meaningful causes because we are generous by nature,” Guglielmi said.
