California Economist Created Site With Friends

DETROIT -- Site founder Edward Lee said it’s a service which allows people to better budget for gas prices. To sign up, consumers estimate how many gallons of gas they will use a month. Consumers then lock in a price
"Essentially what we're doing is we're going to an exchange and purchasing essentially what are these gas price caps," Lee said.
Lee said Petrofix is aimed at small businesses and consumers. "If gas prices go up you don't need to make the hard decisions like, 'How am I going to pay this bill or that bill," Lee said.
The cost to join Petrofix is based on how far you drive and how fuel efficient your vehicle is.
