Turn Your Old Cell Phone Into Cash

Ruth to the Rescue has a way for consumers to turn an old cell phone into cash.

The Web site CellForCash.com buys used cell phones and refurbishes them, Local 4's Ruth Spencer reported.

If you have an old cell phone, you can send it to the company. The company then tests the phone and if it can use the phone, it will send you a check in the mail.

"There are phones out there that have a lower value, $3, $4,$ 5, $10, but there are ones that go as high as $200," said James Mosieur, of CellForCash.

Refurbished phones are a popular choice for parents who don't want to spend a lot of money on a phone for their children.
