Ruth To The Rescue Has Gift Ideas For Dad

Ruth to the Rescue has some unique Father's Day gift idea that dad may actually use.

Forget the ties and tools, Ruth says gift certificates make a great last-minute gift.

Lady Jane's Barber Shop in Troy is just for men and it's easy to see why fathers would feel right at home. The décor consists of tires and TVs which are usually tuned in to sports.

"They can relax. They can get things done that they would get in a salon, but in an environment they feel more comfortable in," said Amanda Garmany, of Lady Jane.

Lady Jane's sells gift certificates from haircuts to eyebrow waxing if dad needs a little extra grooming.

If your dad is a bowler, you'll hit a strike with a gift certificate from Regal Lanes in Warren.

For $25, you get two hours of bowling, shoe rental, a large pizza and pop.

And everyone has a car, so car wash gift certificates are also a great alternative when looking for a list-minute Father's Day gift.

When you buy him four washes at Pro Car Wash in Troy, he gets the fifth wash for free. All dad has to decide is whether to wax or not to wax.
