Over 58,000 attend NAIAS on Education Day
NAIAS says 5,000 preschool, high-school students participated
The North American International Auto Show reports that 58,113 attended the auto show in Detroit on Wednesday, bringing the total for the NAIAS 2013 public days' attendance to 413,674.
NAIAS said the highlight of the day was that 5,000 preschool and high school students enjoyed a morning of auto-related events for Education Day. The students participated in parades, arts and crafts, and even met with some characters from "Sesame Street."

On Thursday, Detroit Red Wings great Mickey Redmond will in the "Auto Show in Motion" parade that will take place at 3:30 pm. According to NAIAS, Redmond will also sign autographs from 4 to 5 pm at the NAIAS Hospitality Deck, located between the Lincoln and ZF Group displays.
The auto show runs through Sunday, Jan. 27.
