DETROIT -

Lincoln Motor Company features more than cars at the North American International Auto Show.

The automaker invited the popular Detroit company, Shinola, to headline a pop-up gallery at Lincoln’s display.

Shinola is best known for its handcrafted watches and bicycles. Its Lincoln gallery will also feature artisan leather, shoe care polish, curated items and journals created with paper from sustainable forests.

“We are delighted to join Lincoln Motor Company at NAIAS 2014,” said Jacques Panis, Shinola president. "Detroit is an iconic global city with a strong manufacturing legacy – we’re very inspired by the history, the innovators and what the city stands for. One of our goals is to work with like-minded partners, and Lincoln shares our enthusiasm and commitment to build products with exceptional quality.”

The Shinola gallery is meant to complement the all-new Lincoln MKC and the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid.

“It’s great to welcome Shinola, which shares our passion for outstanding design and craftsmanship,” said Matt VanDyke, director of global Lincoln. “The Lincoln stand at the North American International Auto Show provides guests with an experience that is informative and immersive.”
