NASCAR is coming to Detroit for the North American International Auto Show, or NAIAS.
The Michigan International Speedway will host a panel discussion called, “Start Line to Finish Line: Engineers and Drivers talk Technology, Innovation, Racing and Fan Engagement in NASCAR.”
This superstar symposium will take place during Industry Preview days of the auto show Wednesday. The event is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. on the River Level in the Atrium area on the Detroit River side of Cobo Center.
Fans, media and guests at Industry Preview are invited to attend this unique presentation to hear from engineers and drivers from all three of NASCAR’s manufacturers – Ford, Toyota and Chevrolet. The panel discussion is free for fans and the public to attend.
If you cannot make it down to the auto show, the presentation will be broadcast online at www. mispeedway.com/techtalk. Or, follow the conversation on Twitter with #NASCARTechTalk.
“We’re thrilled to host this event at the world’s foremost auto show,” MIS President Roger Curtis said. “Technology and fan engagement in NASCAR, with its teams and drivers, the manufacturers and the racetracks has been a significant part of this business and this sport since its inception. Our sport is committed to continuous improvement and we’re thrilled to share it with you.”
