Mikki Moore added 24 points for the Nets, who ended a five-game skid and pulled within one-half game of the New York Knicks for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Richard Jefferson tallied 18 points for New Jersey, which improved to 1-4 on its current six-game road trip that ends on Tuesday night against the Hornets. Pau Gasol scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Grizzlies, who have dropped seven of eight. T.J. Ford notched 19 points and nine assists in his second game in Milwaukee since being traded for Charlie Villanueva in the offseason. Andrea Bargnani netted 12 points for Toronto, which has won three straight after a three-game slide. Juan Dixon added 10 points for Toronto. Charlie Bell notched 25 points and seven boards and Mo Williams netted 18 points and grabbed eight boards for the Bucks, who fell to 1-2 on a seven-game homestand.

Final Score: Phoenix 103, Houston 82

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Leandro Barbosa scored 32 points to lead the playoff-bound Phoenix Suns to a 103-82 win over the Houston Rockets at U.S. Airways Center. Boris Diaw added 15 points and Shawn Marion tallied 14 points with 15 rebounds for the Suns, who clinched a Western Conference playoff spot on Sunday without even taking the floor. Amare Stoudemire had only 12 points and Steve Nash registered just 10 points and eight assists for Phoenix, which lowered its magic number for clinching its third straight Pacific Division title to three games. The Suns have also won five straight games overall, completing their second straight five-game homestand sweep this season. Tracy McGrady scored 19 points and Juwan Howard had 14 points for the Rockets, who had a three-game win streak halted. Yao Ming had only 10 points and eight boards for Houston, which trailed for most of the contest and was put away by the high-powered Suns during the fourth quarter.

Final Score: Golden State 117, Dallas 100

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Don Nelson and the Warriors apparently have the formula of how to beat Dallas, and Monday it came at the right time as Golden State blew out the Mavericks, 117-100, to stop their franchise-record 17-game winning streak. Nelson's Warriors are the only team to beat Dallas twice this year, and dropped the Mavericks to 52-10, sending them to their first defeat since January 25 at Chicago. It was a case of Jekyll and Hyde for the Warriors, who were blown out, 106-87, Sunday night at Portland. Two-time All-Star guard Baron Davis (knee) missed that game, but returned Monday with an inspired effort of nine points and seven of Golden State's 31 assists. Mickael Pietrus had 20 points to lead six Golden State players in double figures, as the Warriors won for the fourth time in five contests to move within a game of the LA Clippers for the eighth spot in the Western Conference. Jason Richardson, Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson each added 16 points for Golden State, which shot 57.1 percent from the field. A frustrated Dirk Nowitzki was limited to 13 points and nine rebounds on 3-of-11 shooting and committed seven of Dallas' 23 turnovers, as the Mavs gave up their most points this season. Nowitzki even picked up a technical foul while on the bench for arguing in the third quarter. Erick Dampier and Jason Terry each had 16 points for Dallas, which shot 42.3 percent and lost for just the third time in 41 games.
