Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Gilbert Arenas scored 30 points and dished out 11 assists to lead the Wizards to a 125-103 rout of the Hornets. Arenas, who converted two four-point plays, shot 10-of-18 from the field, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. Antawn Jamison scored 21 points and DeShawn Stevenson had 18 for the Wizards, who hold a slim half game lead over the idle Heat for the Southeast Division lead. Chris Paul scored 21 points and dished out eight assists, while David West registered 17 points and eight rebounds for the Hornets, who have dropped seven of eight.

Final Score: Sacramento 95, Orlando 83

Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Kevin Martin scored 20 points, as the Sacramento Kings rallied for a 95-83 victory over the Orlando Magic, who are fighting for their playoff lives, at Amway Arena. Ron Artest scored 19 points for the Kings, who snapped a five-game losing streak. Mike Bibby scored 16 points, and John Salmons netted 13 points. Brad Miller added 12 rebounds for Sacramento, which is just 11-23 on the road this campaign and will conclude its five-game swing on Monday in Atlanta. Jameer Nelson scored 23 points for Orlando, which continues to slide down the Eastern Conference standings and has lost four of its last five. The team is currently in a race with four other squads for the last two playoff spots in the conference, with little separation between the clubs. The Magic are now tied with Indiana for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot. The Magic now hit the road for a quick two-game swing against Miami and Toronto, two teams above them in the conference standings. Trevor Ariza scored 17 points, J.J. Redick 12, and Dwight Howard added 12 boards for the Magic, who are 20-14 at home this season. Forward Darko Milicic (strained lower back) returned to notch 10 points.

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Troy Murphy scored 22 points, one short of a career high, and the Indiana Pacers ended an 11-game losing skid with a 113-90 rout of the Atlanta Hawks. Mike Dunleavy scored 21 points for the Pacers, who pulled back into a tie with the Orlando Magic for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Danny Granger finished with 19 points, and Ike Diogu had 15 points for the Pacers. Josh Smith scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Hawks, who have lost their last two. Zaza Pachulia also scored 16, raking in seven boards, while Josh Childress finished with 11 points, 10 boards, and five assists.

Final Score: Cleveland 82, Utah 73

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - LeBron James posted 24 points, a season-high 17 rebounds and nine assists, as the Cleveland Cavaliers continued their hunt for the Eastern Conference's top spot with an 82-73 victory over the Utah Jazz at Quicken Loans Arena. Sasha Pavlovic scored 21 points for the Cavaliers, who have won a season-high eight games in a row to keep the conference lead in reach. However, it is the Pistons who refuse to cooperate. Detroit has won five straight and holds a two-game lead over Cleveland for the top spot in the Central Division and the Eastern Conference. Drew Gooden posted 14 points and 12 boards for Cleveland, which has won six straight at home and is 26-8 at Quicken Loans Arena this season. The club next hits the road for a game in Charlotte on Tuesday. Carlos Boozer, playing in his first game back in Cleveland since leaving nearly three years ago for more money in Utah, notched 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Jazz, who dropped four straight on a four-game road swing. Mehmet Okur also scored 19 points and grabbed eight boards, while Deron Williams added 12 points and seven assists for Utah, which fell to 18-16 on the road this season and will host Golden State on Tuesday.

Final Score: Memphis 104, Chicago 103

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Mike Miller scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Hakim Warrick made a free throw with 4.3 seconds left on the clock to lift Memphis to an improbable 104-103 victory over Chicago. Pau Gasol had 21 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and five blocks as the Grizzlies blew a double-digit second half lead only to rally in the final seconds for the win. Chucky Atkins scored 19 points off the bench, Warrick finished with 15 points and 10 boards an Rudy Gay added 13 points and eight rebounds for Memphis, which had dropped eight of its last nine contests. Ben Gordon poured in 33 points and Luol Deng had 23, but missed a jumper at the buzzer that would have won it for the Bulls, who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end. Chicago remains 4 1/2 games behind Detroit for the Central Division lead.

Final Score: Boston 91, San Antonio 85

San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Paul Pierce poured in 30 points and hit key shots down the stretch, as Boston defeated San Antonio, 91-85, for its first victory over the Spurs since 1997. The Celtics also defeated San Antonio on the road for the first time since 1990, a span of 15 games. Delonte West added 23 points while Al Jefferson had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Boston, which won for the second time in its last three games. Tony Parker netted 30 points for the Spurs, who hadn't lost to Boston since January of 1997. Tim Duncan had 20 points and 16 rebounds for San Antonio, which has lost two straight after a 13-game winning streak.

Final Score: Milwaukee 97, Charlotte 91

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Michael Redd scored 27 points, as the Milwaukee Bucks got their second win under new head coach Larry Krystkowiak with a 97-91 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats at the Bradley Center. Andrew Bogut posted 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Bucks, who are 16-15 at the Bradley Center this season and 3-2 on their current seven-game homestand. Charlie Bell had 18 points and Mo Williams netted 17 for Milwaukee, which will also receive visits from the LA Clippers and Detroit. Ruben Patterson added 11 boards. Gerald Wallace posted 20 points and 13 rebounds for Charlotte, which is just trying to survive the season. Playing without Sean May (sore right knee), Emeka Okafor (strained left calf), and Brevin Knight (strained left groin), the Bobcats got a career-high 18 points from Walter Herrmann and 15 from Derek Anderson. Last in the Southeast Division, Charlotte is just 9-25 on the road this season and has dropped seven straight as the visitor.

Final Score: Golden State 99, Seattle 98

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Baron Davis drilled the game-winning jump shot from just inside the top of the key with 2.3 seconds left to lift the Golden State Warriors over the Seattle SuperSonics, 99-98, at KeyArena. The Warriors moved one-half game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth overall playoff spot in the Western Conference, while the Sonics dropped to 4 1/2 games behind Golden State. Richardson scored 23 points for the Warriors, who have won six of their last seven. Al Harrington netted 20 points and Davis had 19 for the Warriors, who are a dismal 8-26 on the road this season and will play in Utah on Tuesday. Andris Biedrins added a season-high tying 18 rebounds. Ray Allen scored 25 points for Seattle, which is on a five-game losing streak. Lewis netted 23 points, Chris Wilcox had 15 points with eight boards, and Nick Collison added 18 boards for the SuperSonics, who are 18-15 at home this season. They will visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday at the Rose Garden.

Final Score: Denver 131, Phoenix 107

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Allen Iverson poured in 44 points and doled out 15 assists to lead an offensive explosion by the Denver Nuggets, who scored 70 points before the half, led by 40 points early in the fourth quarter, and torched the Phoenix Suns, 131-107. Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Nuggets, who won their fourth straight to pull into a virtual tie with the LA Lakers for the sixth seed in the Western Conference. Denver is 33-31, while the Lakers are 34-32. Nene scored 14 points and raked in 10 boards, and Marcus Camby had 12 points and eight rebounds. Leandro Barbosa scored 25 points for the Suns, who would have clinched the Pacific Division with a win. Steve Nash scored 15 points and tallied 10 assists for Phoenix, which has lost two straight.
