A nationwide search for an fugitive from Oregon ended Saturday in Metro Detroit.
Gregory Liascos, known better as the "moss man burglar," was arrested at his mother's house in Shelby Township and was being held at the Macomb County Jail.
The 37-year-old is charged with three counts of first-degree burglary and one count each of second-degree burglary, attempted aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree criminal mischief.
In October, 2010, police said Liascos was wearing a camouflage, or mossy-like, outfit when he was arrested while attempting to break into a museum. He later failed to appear in court this month and was tracked by authorities to Michigan.
