Driver killed, passengers critically injured in crash near East Warren, McClellan Street

DETROIT - A teenager was killed in an early morning accident in Detroit Friday.

Police say they are searching for a passenger who walked away after the accident.

There were several people in the car at the time of the crash. EMS confirmed four people were taken to the hospital.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. near East Warren and McClellan Street on Detroit's east side.

The 15-year-old driver was killed. Two teens are also listed in critical condition at this time.

There is no immediate word on the conditions of others in the vehicle or what may have caused the crash.
