Detroit Man Linked To Terrorist Suspects
Nabil Al-Marabh Reportedly Sent Money
Information about a link between a Detroit man and the suspects in the terrorist attacks was uncovered by the Local 4 Defenders.
The
Toronto Star followed a money trail, starting from former Detroit resident Nabil Al-Marabh
(pictured, left), 34. Reporters found paperwork showing that Al-Marabh sent $15,000 to three men who federal agents believe were involved with the planning or funding of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Al-Marabh is considered to be a close associate of Osama bin Laden. Al-Marabh was arrested Sept. 19 in Justice, Ill., near Chicago.
Al-Marabh is currently in New York waiting to face charges.
