The Toronto Star followed a money trail, starting from former Detroit resident Nabil Al-Marabh (pictured, left), 34. Reporters found paperwork showing that Al-Marabh sent $15,000 to three men who federal agents believe were involved with the planning or funding of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Al-Marabh is currently in New York waiting to face charges.
