POSTED: 12:26 pm EDT October 19, 2006

The Detroit Department of Transportation has teamed up with Northland Center to offer Park & Ride services to World Series events at Comerica Park.

The services begin Oct. 21 and 22, and if the series goes to games 6 and 7, transportation will be available on Oct. 28 and 29.

The shuttle runs every 15 minutes starting at 2 p.m. until 2 hours after the game and it costs $2 each way.

Parking will begin in Lot G near the Southfield Police Substation and will extend to Lots F and E if needed.

Northland Center is located off the Lodge Freeway and Northwestern Highway on Greenfield Road between 8 and 9 Mile roads.
