You may feel a little down on Monday, Jan. 22, but you're probably not alone.

Experts call it "Blue Monday", citing it as the saddest day of the year, Local 4 reported.

It's believed six factors make the day so depressing, including bad weather, debt from Christmas bills and failed New Year's resolutions, Local 4 reported.

A few ways to prevent the 'Blue Monday' blues next year: keep Christmas spending to a strict budget, change your behavior or benefits, and be optimistic.
