Search Is On For Missing Woman

POSTED: Friday, February 16, 2007
UPDATED: 2:54 pm EST February 23, 2007

A 34-year-old Washington Township woman has been reported missing since Feb. 9, according to a news release from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

Police said Tara Lynn Grant was last seen at her home in Washington Township where she lives with her husband and two children, ages 4 and 6. She left during the evening hours of Feb. 9, and her family said they have had no contact with her, that she seems to have just disappeared.

Her family said she got into a black vehicle on Friday in front of her home -- she was on her way to a business trip in San Juan, Puerto Rico -- scheduled for Feb. 12, but never made the trip.

Grant is in good physical and mental condition, and police said there is no reason to suspect foul play at this time.

Grant is described as white with fair skin, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Those who have any information about Grant are being asked to contact the Macomb County Sheriff's Office at 586-307-9358 or the after-hours hotline at 586-307-3412.
